The Macarthur Football Association has been successful in its application with Football NSW for admission to the above programs beginning around mid / late February in 2016. We are now seeking expressions of interest from players who would like to trial for inclusion to this football development pathway opportunity whilst still playing for their local clubs.

The programs are designed to be an initial introduction to representative football while allowing a close tie to community club football that is in step with player development and the FFA Curriculum.

Please read the overview and respond by sending your child’s details to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it by close of business Thursday 19th November. We need the following –

  • FFA number (can be found by logging into my football club)

  • DOB

Overview of the programs -

  • The teams will be known as Macarthur, it is an association based representative team not Macarthur Rams

  • Training will take place locally once per week generally on a Monday or Wednesday night

  • The fees are $750.00 which will provide each player with a training and playing strip, tracksuit, gear bag and all coaching.

  • The Association will endeavour to reschedule club games which may clash with RYL / SAP games should the club have 3 or more players playing in any RYL / SAP fixture.

  • The maximum amount of players ANY club can have in a single age group in the RYL / SAP squads is 5.
