Thanks to Cooper from the Under 6 Maroon side. On Saturday the 2nd of May Cooper assisted our Groundsman in preparing your fields so you could play football. Cooper had the Job of turning on the switch that releases the white stuff that makes the lines. Cooper also made sure that the line machine stopped where it was supose to. Cooper was a Big Help.
After this Cooper went on to play football with his mates in the u6 maroon's and had heaps of fun. This is Cooper's first year of playing fooball and he loves it. Copper said his favorite team is the Bears. He also likes scoring goals. |

Around the Grounds The Streets Paddlepop lion visited the U8 Maroon team at Appin last week. He was instrumental in providing the motivation needed to push the team all the way. Whilst they didn't win it was great to see the kids (some hidden away scared) enjoy the 'suprise' visit. These will be one of many suprise visits by special guests throughout the season, so watch out boys, girls and parents you never know who may turn up!!!!! |

Yet another new sponsor for us here at the Bears...Andrew from Zone 3 Campbelltown has gracefully sponsored the Bears by providing time at Zone 3 for ALL our teams...at no cost to us. I could tell you what the value is however you would all fall over. Coaches and managers will receive more information on how to take advantage of this wonderful offer in a letter in your folders from Saturday 13th June. Be on the lookout, this is a wonderful opportunity for a different type of team building.
