Small Sided Games for U10 and U11 for 2011.

We have had our first year of SSG’s and would like to know the impact of these games on your children and yourselves, the parents, coaches, managers etc.

1. Would you like to see SSG’s go through to the U11 age group?

2. If your kids are under this age group coming through would you keep your children playing soccer knowing they would be playing SSG’s until the age of 12?

Could you please Copy and Paste the 2 above questions with your answers and age of your children and send to my below email as soon as possible so we can get back to Macarthur with your feedback.

Regards
Chris Webb

Congratulations to the BRADBURY AMBARVALE BEARS 11/4s and 10/2s for being selected for the FIFA FAN FEST at Darling Harbour where they played exhibition matches as part of the 2010 World Cup Celebrations.

Bears 11/4s vs Gymea United FC  Sunday 13th June Match Time 4pm to 5pm

Although the 11/4's were beaten in their match all the kids had a great time.

Bears 10/2s vs Maroubra United  Friday 2nd July  Match Time  6pm to 7pm.
The 10/2's also had a great time and won their game 18-1 over Maroubra United

Well done to both teams and especially well done to the 10/2's for such a great win.

This event was free to the public and was being advertised on radio station 95.3.

The games were played on a floating pitch at Darling Harbour and were played as a 6 a side format.

Hyundai being sponsors had 3 huge TV screens around Darling Harbour televising the games and the

Big Hyundai I ball which I believe is the big soccer ball televising games.

Only 24 teams were selected for this event, and only 6 cities around the world hosted the official

FIFA Fan Fest as part of the world cup celebrations.

106.5 fm came down to our grounds on Saturday 12th June to see what our great club was all about.
They gave away some freebies to the kids and took some photos of our winning U12/3 team.
A link to their website will be up shortly to see the U12 players in front of the car the station is giving away to a deserved club.
Cheers

Can you walk in straight lines?

We require a 'line marking person' to help our chief groundsman, Tony,  mark out the fields on a regular basis for season 2010.
